WInterfair A Success

Another Winterfair show has come and gone. This year the club seemed to attract a great amount of attention and interest from the patrons. Our club showed some of it's members best and delighted shoppers. Some members even did demonstrations of technique. Here we have a few shots of our booth. This was our third year taking part in this show. It is sponsored by the Ohio Designer Craftsman Guild and has been held at the Northern Kentucky Convention center in Covington Kentucky.

Here we have a view of the other side of the booth.

Tow of our members Ingrid Heithaus on the left and Liz Marten on the right demoing some techniques. Great fun was had by all.

Rivercity Doll Makers 2009 show continued

As promised here are more pictures of the annual show our club just put on. The above picture is a complete picture of the group of fabric challenge dolls. I will post individuals in the next post.

Here are the individual entries for the Viewers choice challenge. The one above belongs to Cody Goodin. This is his Yeti Goblin.

This entry is from Jenny Boggs.

Kathy Garnar created her entry from gourds.

This lovely doll was the entry of Elizabeth Marten.

Nita Keller created this fun little character piece.

Here is the entry by Robbie Porter whom you may recall won the fabric challenge this year.

This beauty was created by Stephen Rausch who is one of our new board members.

Finally here is a close up of the winning entry this year. Linda Berkemeier creates such lovely fairies and other fun characters.

Hope you enjoyed this look into what some of our members do. Until next time.
